Please call our Client Services Department prior to sending first specimen. If additional testing such as DNA is indicated, call Client Services for further specimen requirements. If prior NIPT or maternal serum screening studies have been performed, include copy of report.
Expected Turnaround Time
9 - 12 days Turnaround time is defined as the usual number of days from the date of pickup of a specimen for testing to when the result is released to the ordering provider. Collection
Discard first 2 mL; then 15-25 mL amniotic fluid (less if early amniocentesis)

Maintain specimen at room temperature. Do not freeze.
